Epic Fail....

My NO SPEND WEEK has been an epic fail so far. We did get our income tax in so I had been waiting on that to get tires. So I bought tires, and gas, and ate out, and now I have to take my dog to get shots and her nails trimmed. Hopefully I can commit to not spending the rest of the week, but I am pretty disappointed. But...I was able to put over $1000.00 in savings.

    Putting over 1K in savings is not an epic fail. Your goal is your savings not your no spend week. Big Grin Maybe the eating out is a "fail" of sorts, but the rest of the spending sounds like its needed for health and safety.

    I agree with Baselle, if you need gas and tires, then you need them. That's not failure.

    Great going on sticking with your planned spending for tires and getting $1K into savings. It started with gas, then food and now clothing will join in the inflation march.
